Lead Dust Sampling- Residential
Fee's are based off of the amount of bedrooms in a home or unit. To meet EPA/HUD requirements you must have one floor dust sample and one windowsill dust sample in every bedroom. It is also required for one floor and windowsill sample in a common area(i.e. living room, dining room etc.), we are also required to submit (1) control sample for each unit to ensure accuracy of lab analysis
1 Bedroom+ common- $180
2 Bedroom+ common- $205
3 Bedroom+ common- $230
4 Bedroom+ common- $255
5 Bedroom+ common- $280
In order to receive a lead safe certification each sample must fall below the EPA guidelines below:
Windowsills- less than 100 µg/ft 2
Floors- less than 10 µg/ft 2
Any samples that test above these EPA guidelines will need to be addressed, and then retested prior to being issued a lead safe certification. Discounted rates available for re-testing of any failed samples if necessary.
